Me

Web Designer // Game Developer

I am a senior in the Interactive Media & Game Design program at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Within this program, I have studied computer science and learned how to write code in a variety of programming languages, such as Java, C, and C++. In addition to studying Game Design, I am also a student in the Psychology program at SUNY Poly. There are many similarities to be drawn from these two programs, and I've been able to translate everything I've learned to various aspects of my life, both personally and professionally. You can check out examples of my work here.

Professional Background

In addition to work I've done at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, I've also spent a lot of time working in my field for various employers. Currently, I am a Student Assistant in the Publications and Web Development office on campus. I work with my supervisor, Lynne Browne, to keep the website up-to-date and manage the hundreds of pages in the sunypoly.edu domain.

Outside of SUNY Polytechnic Institute, I am an Instructor for iD Tech Summer Camps. Starting in Spring 2018, I began working at the New Paltz location where I taught several courses on topics such as game development and modding. I will be returning to this location this summer to be teaching similar courses and inspiring another group of young creators. You can read more about my experience in my original internship blog, which was updated weekly while I was working at iD Tech last summer. This content has also been moved to the "Internship" page of this site, as the formatting of the original site is no longer working correctly.
